This agreement (hereinafter, the "Agreement") between Edu:Manufaktura (hereinafter, "us" or "we") and you sets forth the terms and conditions which govern your use of any of the Edu:Manufaktura or Edu:Manufaktura sponsored websites (hereinafter, the "Sites") and/or the services (hereinafter, the "Services") thereon which are provided by Edu:Manufaktura.
Please read this agreement carefully before accessing or using any of the sites and/or services. By accessing or using the sites and/or services, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth below. If you do not wish to be bound by these terms and conditions, you may not access or use the sites or services and should immediately cease such use. Edu:Manufaktura may modify this agreement at any time, and such modifications shall be effective immediately upon notice, which may be accomplished by posting the modified agreement on the site or via email. Your use of any of the sites and/or services following such notice shall be deemed your acceptance of such changes. You agree to review the agreement periodically to be aware of such modifications and your continued access or use of the site and/or the services shall be deemed your conclusive acceptance of the modified agreement. If we request, you irrevocably agree to sign a non-electronic version of this agreement.
5. Cancellations and Termination
1. Purpose of Edu:Manufaktura
Edu:Manufaktura is a network of experts in higher education, whose aim is to act as a matchmaker between top students from the Balkans and high-quality study programs in Europe. To that end, Edu:Manufaktura assists students to find and get them admitted to the study program that is best suited for them, and universities to attract top talent for their undergraduate and graduate programs.
Edu:Manufaktura's mission is to increase the public awareness and available information across the Balkans on the opportunities and advantages of international higher education. In particular, Edu:Manufaktura is determined to: enhance international student mobility on the European level; enable better access for students, particularly unprivileged ones, to European universities; and ensure optimum matchmaking between the universities and students.
Edu:Manufaktura’s two central activities are: 1. Education portal (EduManufaktura.org) through which we offer relevant information about the higher education in Europe to students interested in studying in Europe. In particular, Edu:Manufaktura provides information on: higher education systems in Europe (including information on general admission requirements, access to scholarships and grants, visa application process, tuition fees, and university life across countries); higher education trends in Europe with perspective to global tendencies, the main benefits of international education, supported by research and evidence, as well as first-hand experiences and advices of students educated internationally, among others. 2. Consulting services, which are designed to assist undergraduate and graduate students in their quest to find a study placement by matchmaking with the appropriate European universities.
2. Our services
Edu:Manufaktura provides a broad range of consultancy services (listed below) to students interested in studying abroad at the European universities. Edu:Manufaktura does not and cannot guarantee a positive outcome in terms of enrollment of a student to a desired study program. In addition, Edu:Manufaktura cannot guarantee a positive outcome in the visa acquiring process, scholarship applications process, student loan application process, GRE/GMAT testing, or TOEFL/IELTS testing.
2.1. Consultation via email
Consultation via email is a service included in all of our packages: Undergraduate (Basic, Advanced, Ultimate), Graduate (Basic, Advanced, Ultimate) and Application Assistance (should a student opt for it).
Through this service, our experts aim to answer questions and resolve doubts students may have regarding the application and admissions process, and/or visa requirements and immigration, and/or scholarship application process, among others. The duration of the service is depended upon the package in question. Our experts will strive to answer emails within 48 hours of their receipt. However, we make no guarantees to answer all of the emails within 48 hours.
2.2. Initial telephone/Skype meeting
The initial telephone/Skype meeting is a service offered in Edu:Manufaktura’s Advanced and Ultimate packages – both in Undergraduate and Graduate study packages, as well as through the Application Assistance packages, should a student opt for it.
Through this service, our experts aim to answer questions and resolve doubts students may have regarding the application and admissions process, and/or visa requirements and immigration, and/or scholarship application process, among others.
The duration of the meeting is bounded by its maximum of 45 min.
2.3. CV optimization
CV optimization is a service offered in Edu:Manufaktura’s Advanced and Ultimate packages – both in Undergraduate and Graduate study packages, as well as through the Application Assistance packages, should a student opt for it.
CV optimization entails designing and editing of a Curriculum Vitae (CV), so it reflects the qualifications and achievements of a candidate.
In case a student opts for the Advanced package (either through Undergraduate or Graduate study packages), assistance is provided for up to two [2] applications, if these belong to the same field of study. In case a student opts for Ultimate package (either through Undergraduate or Graduate study packages), assistance is provided for up to five [5] applications, if these belong to the same field of study.
Application documents will be edited based on a student’s draft letter, and all the application materials will be filled out honestly.
2.4. Motivation letter editing
Motivation letter editing is a service offered in Edu:Manufaktura’s Advanced and Ultimate packages – both in Undergraduate and Graduate study packages, as well as through the Application Assistance packages, should a student opt for it.
Motivation letter editing entails designing and editing of a Motivation letter so it reflects the qualifications, goals, and achievements of a candidate.
In case a student opts for the Advanced package (either through Undergraduate or Graduate study packages), assistance is provided for up to two [2] applications, if these belong to the same field of study. In case a student opts for Ultimate package (either through Undergraduate or Graduate study packages), assistance is provided for up to five [5] applications, if these belong to the same field of study.
Application documents will be edited based on a student’s draft letter, and all the application materials will be filled out honestly.
2.5. Assistance with other application materials
Assistance with other application materials is a service offered in Edu:Manufaktura’s Ultimate packages – both in Undergraduate and Graduate study packages, as well as through the Application Assistance packages, should a student opt for it.
Edu:Manufaktura offers assistance to students with editing and designing documents necessary for admission to a university. These may include: reference letters, standardized admission forms, online admission forms, among others.
In case a student opts for the Advanced package (either through Undergraduate or Graduate study packages), assistance is provided for up to two [2] applications, if these belong to the same field of study. In case a student opts for Ultimate package (either through Undergraduate or Graduate study packages), assistance is provided for up to five [5] applications, if these belong to the same field of study.
Application documents will be edited based on a student’s draft letter, and all the application materials will be filled out honestly.
2.6. Matchmaking with the best study programs
Matchmaking with the best study programs is a service offered in Edu:Manufaktura’s Ultimate packages – both in Undergraduate and Graduate study packages, as well as through the Application Assistance packages, should a student opt for it.
After the initial telephone/Skype meeting (see point 2.2.), Edu:Manufaktura’s experts perform the matchmaking, i.e., pairing student’s preferences, qualifications, and study criteria with available study programs in Europe. We will create a list of maximum six [6] study programs/universities, which satisfy the student’s criteria.
2.7. Assistance with visa and immigration
Assistance with visa and immigration is a service offered in Edu:Manufaktura’s Ultimate packages – both in Undergraduate and Graduate study packages, as well as through the Application Assistance packages, should a student opt for it.
Through this service, Edu:Manufaktura’s experts offer assistance with the migration issues and help with the visa application process. It includes delivering general information on visa application process, preparation of the documents, and guidance during the process.
2.8. Assistance with application for a scholarship or a student loan
Assistance with application for a scholarship or a student loan is a service offered in Edu:Manufaktura’s Ultimate packages – both in Undergraduate and Graduate study packages, as well as through the Application Assistance packages, should a student opt for it.
Through this service, Edu:Manufaktura’s experts offer assistance with application for a scholarship or a student loan. It includes: delivering general information on how to obtain scholarship/student loan; assisting with the preparation of the documents necessary for application for scholarship/student loan; and guidance throughout the process.
2.9. Assistance with TOEFL/IELTS application
Assistance with TOEFL/IELTS application is a service offered in Edu:Manufaktura’s Ultimate package (Graduate study package), as well as through the Application Assistance packages, should a student opt for it.
Through this service, Edu:Manufaktura’s experts offer assistance with application for TOEFL/IELTS testing. It includes: delivering general information on testing requirements; assisting with the preparation of the documents necessary for testing; and guidance throughout the process.
2.10. Assistance with GRE/GMAT application
Assistance with GRE/GMAT application is a service offered in Edu:Manufaktura’s Ultimate package (Graduate study package), as well as through the Application Assistance packages, should a student opt for it.
Through this service, Edu:Manufaktura’s experts offer assistance with application for GRE/GMAT testing. It includes: delivering general information on testing requirements; assisting with the preparation of the documents necessary for testing; and guidance throughout the process.
2.11. Contact with universities
Contact with universities is a service offered in Edu:Manufaktura’s Ultimate packages – both in Undergraduate and Graduate study packages, as well as through the Application Assistance packages, should a student opt for it.
Edu:Manufaktura’s experts offer to manage communication with universities where a student applied to or wishes to apply, should any issues and doubts arise.
2.12. Schedule tracking system
Schedule tracking system is a service offered in Edu:Manufaktura’s Ultimate packages – both in Undergraduate and Graduate study packages, as well as through the Application Assistance packages, should a student opt for it.
In order to make sure that the study application process runs smoothly, Edu:Manufaktura offers a schedule tracking system, which entails sending reminders regarding the specific steps of the application process.
3. Duration of Services
3.1. Consultation via email
3.1.1. Basic package (valid for both Undergraduate and Graduate packages) – two [2] days.
During two days, through this service, our experts aim to answer questions and clarify doubts students may have regarding the application and admissions process, and/or visa requirements and immigration, and/or scholarship application process, among others. Our experts will strive to answer emails within 48 hours of their receipt. However, we make no guarantees to answer all of the emails within 48 hours. Your subscription starts with Edu:Manufaktura’s confirmation of your payment. Once a student starts using the service, the duration cannot be paused or frozen for a later use.
3.1.2. Advanced package (valid for both Undergraduate and Graduate packages) – one [1] month.
During one month, through this service, our experts aim to answer any questions and solve any doubts students may have regarding the application and admissions process, and/or visa requirements and immigration, and/or scholarship application process, among others. Our experts will strive to answer emails within 48 hours of their receipt. However, we make no guarantees to answer all of the emails within 48 hours. There are no limitations to the amount of questions. Your subscription starts with Edu:Manufaktura’s confirmation of your payment. Once a student starts using the service, the duration cannot be paused or frozen for later use.
3.1.3. Ultimate package (valid for both Undergraduate and Graduate packages) – until a student gets admitted.
During several months, through this service, our experts aim to answer any questions and solve any doubts students may have regarding the application and admissions process, and/or visa requirements and immigration, and/or scholarship application process, among others. Our experts will strive to answer emails within 48 hours of their receipt. However, we make no guarantees to answer all of the emails within 48 hours. There are no limitations to the amount of questions. Your subscription starts with Edu:Manufaktura’s confirmation of your payment. Once a student starts using the service, the duration cannot be paused or frozen for later use.

3.3.2. Ultimate package (valid for both Undergraduate and Graduate packages) - the service is provided only once. It may involve several email exchanges until the quality of CV is improved. Assistance is provided for up to five [5] applications, if these belong to the same field of study.
3.4. Motivation letter editing
3.4.1. Advanced package (valid for both Undergraduate and Graduate packages) - the service is provided only once. It may involve several email exchanges until the quality of Motivation letter is improved. Assistance is provided for up to two [2] applications, if these belong to the same field of study.
3.4.2. Ultimate package (valid for both Undergraduate and Graduate packages) - the service is provided only once. It may involve several email exchanges until the quality of Motivation letter is improved. Assistance is provided for up to five [5] applications, if these belong to the same field of study.
3.5. Assistance with other application materials
3.5.1. Ultimate package (valid for both Undergraduate and Graduate packages) - the service is provided only once. Assistance is provided for up to five [5] applications, if these belong to the same field of study.
3.6. Matchmaking with the best study programs
3.6.1. Ultimate package (valid for both Undergraduate and Graduate packages) - the service is provided only once. EduManufaktura will create a list of maximum six [6] study programs/universities, which satisfy the student’s criteria.
3.7. Assistance with visa and immigration
3.7.1. Ultimate package (valid for both Undergraduate and Graduate packages) - the service is provided only once; however, our experts will do their best to support the student until the immigration visa is obtained.
3.8. Assistance with application for a scholarship or a student loan
3.8.1. Ultimate package (valid for both Undergraduate and Graduate packages) - the service can be used until the application documents for scholarship/student loan are submitted.
3.9. Assistance with TOEFL/IELTS application
3.9.1. Ultimate package (valid for Graduate package) - the service can be used until the TOEFL/IELTS certificate is obtained.
3.10. Assistance with GRE/GMAT application
3.10.1. Ultimate package (valid for Graduate package) - the service can be used until the GRE/GMAT certificate is obtained.
3.11. Contact with universities
3.11.1. Ultimate package (valid for both Undergraduate and Graduate packages) - the service can be used when a problem/doubt arises and if these cannot be solved through consultations with EduManufaktura’s experts.
3.12. Schedule tracking system
3.12.1. Ultimate package (valid for both Undergraduate and Graduate packages) - the service can be used until study program commences (provided that the student is admitted).
4. Fees & Payments

4.2. Payment options
EduManufaktura supports several payment options, such as major credit cards and pre-paid credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, Discover, JCB); many debit cards that can be processed as credit; and PayPal for select countries. EduManufaktura also accepts bank transfers.
4.3. Refund Policy
EduManufaktura practices fair refund policies.
4.3.1. Full refunds are possible, if:
4.3.1.1. You placed an order accidentally or a third party used your credit card/bank account/PayPal account to purchase EduManufaktura’s services. The deadline to file a complaint is 30 days, and it is calculated in calendar days starting the day after you receive the confirmation of payment.
4.3.1.2. You made a payment for our services, have not used them yet, and after a few days realized that you do not require them. The deadline to file a complaint is 30 days, and it is calculated in calendar days starting the day after you receive the confirmation of payment.
4.3.2. Partial refunds are possible on a case-to-case basis. The provider of the services, EduManufaktura, has a sole authority to determine, at its own discretion, on the merits of such a request, as well as to establish the groundedness of the request and to what extent a partial refund can be performed. The deadline to file a complaint is 30 days, and it is calculated in calendar days starting the day after you receive the confirmation of payment. [Example of partial refund: After purchasing the Ultimate package (graduate or undergraduate) and using it for a week, a student realizes that it exceeds his/her requirements, and, hence, he/she would be better off with an Advanced package. The student might be refunded for the services he/she has not used yet.]
5. Cancellations and Termination
Clients can always cancel their subscriptions without any justifications. For refunds, please consult our Refund policy (4.3).
6. Prohibited Activities
In connection with your use of the Sites and/or the Services, you acknowledge and agree that you will not:
6.1. copy, reverse engineer, reverse assemble, otherwise attempt to discover the source code, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer or sell any information, software, products or services obtained through the Sites or the Services;
6.2. access the Sites or Services by any means other than through the standard industry-accepted or EduManufaktura-provided interfaces;
6.3. transmit any message, information, data, text, software or image, or other content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortuous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, or otherwise objectionable which may invade another's right of privacy or publicity;
6.4. impersonate any person or entity, including without limitation, an EduManufaktura official, forum leader, chat room monitor, guide or host, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with such a person or entity;
6.5. post or transmit any material that contains a virus or corrupted data;
6.6. delete any author attributions, legal notices or proprietary designations or labels that you upload to any communication feature;
6.7. use of any Site or Service's communications features in a manner that adversely affects the availability of its resources to other users (e.g., excessive shouting, use of all caps, or flooding continuous postings of repetitive text);
6.8. post or transmit any unsolicited advertising, promotional materials, "junk mail", "spam," "chain letters," "pyramid schemes" or any other form of solicitation or any non-resume information such as opinions or notices, commercial or otherwise;
6.9. violate any applicable local, state, national or international law;
6.10. upload or transmit any material that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights of any party;
6.11. delete or revise any material posted by any other person or entity;
6.12. manipulate or otherwise display the Sites and/or the Services by using framing or similar navigational technology;
6.13. register, subscribe, attempt to register, attempt to subscribe, unsubscribe, or attempt to unsubscribe, any party for any EduManufaktura product or Service if you are not expressly authorized by such party to do so;
6.14 use the Sites and/or the Services for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms and conditions. You may not use the Site or the Services in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden or impair EduManufaktura 's servers or networks, or interfere with any other user's use and enjoyment of the Sites and/or the Services. Furthermore, you may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any of the Sites, Services, accounts, computer systems or networks connected to EduManufaktura through hacking, password mining or any other means. You may not obtain or attempt to obtain any materials or information through any means not intentionally made available through the Sites or the Services.
7. Limitation of Liability
Neither EduManufaktura nor its directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents or sponsors are responsible or liable to you or anyone else for any loss or injury or any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive or other damages under any contract, negligence, strict liability or other theory arising out of or relating in any way to (i) the use of or inability to use the sites or the services; (ii) any content contained on the sites and/or the services; (iii) statements or conduct posted or made publicly available on the sites and/or the services; (iv) any product or service purchased or obtained through the sites; (v) any action taken in response to or as a result of any information available on the sites or the services; (vi) any damage caused by loss of access to, deletion of, failure to store, failure to back up, or alteration of any content on the sites or the services, or (vii) any other matter relating to the sites and/or the services. In no event shall EduManufaktura’s total liability to you for any and all damages, losses, and causes of action (whether in contract, tort [including, but not limited to, negligence], statutory, or otherwise) exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for using any of the services or the sites.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold EduManufaktura and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, agents, co-branders or other partners, employees, and representatives harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees and disbursements) which arise directly or indirectly out of or from (i) your breach of this Agreement, (ii) any allegation that any materials that you submit to EduManufaktura or post on any forums (e.g., support groups, chat rooms) infringe or otherwise violate the copyright, trade secret, trademark or other intellectual property rights of a third party, and (iii) your access or use of the Sites and/or the Services.
9. General Conditions
9.1. Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
9.2. Technical support is only provided via email. (Exceptions valid for clients purchased “assistance” or “full admission” packages.
9.3. You understand that the Company uses third party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run the Service.
9.4. You must not modify, adapt or hack the Service.
9.5. You must not modify another website so as to falsely imply that it is associated with the Service or the Company.
9.6. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service without the express written permission by the Company.
9.7. We may, but have no obligation to, remove content and accounts that we determine in our sole discretion are unlawful or violates any party’s intellectual property or these Terms of Service.
9.8. Verbal, physical, written or other abuse (including threats of abuse or retribution) of any Service customer, Company employee or officer will result in immediate account termination.
9.9. You understand that the technical processing and transmission of the Service, including your content, may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices.
9.10. The Company does not warrant that (i) the service will meet your specific requirements, (ii) the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, (iii) the results that may be obtained from the use of the service will be accurate or reliable, (iv) the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you through the service will meet your expectations, and (v) any errors in the Service will be corrected.
9.11. You expressly understand and agree that the Company shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses (even if the Company has been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from: (i) the use or the inability to use the service; (ii) the cost of procurement of substitute goods and services resulting from any goods, data, information or services purchased or obtained or messages received or transactions entered into through or from the service; (iii) unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data; (iv) statements or conduct of any third party on the service; (v) or any other matter relating to the service.
9.12. The failure of the Company to exercise or enforce any right or provision of the Terms of Service shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. The Terms of Service constitutes the entire agreement between you and the Company and govern your use of the Service, superseding any prior agreements between you and the Company (including, but not limited to, any prior versions of the Terms of Service).
