Q: What are career and financial prospects of my son/daughter educated abroad?

A: Throughout the years, research has demonstrated that investments in higher education degree have very high returns - in terms of higher salary, better job prospects, and higher life quality for individuals, as well as improved wellbeing of the society as a whole. Increasing number of professions require the job seekers to have an appropriate higher education degree just to get a foot in the door, much less to succeed within the organization. However, new findings show that, in today’s economy when competition is stronger than ever, having a university degree is just not enough.

The UK’s Council for Industry and Higher Education found that international businesses are increasingly seeking graduates who have global experience, particularly those who have the initiative to study overseas as part of their learning. Graduates who have studied abroad tend to be more culturally aware, are able to work in international teams better, and are more adept at solving problems involving complex multicultural issues.

Q: What other benefits a study abroad experience can bring to my son/daughter?

A: Students educated in the international environment acquire cross-cultural competences and cutting-edge technical skills, which are professional qualifications preferred by employers in today’s globalized world. As a consequence, these students finish university at higher rates and experience lower rates of unemployment during their professional careers. In addition, students who study abroad have better grades, experience less attrition, and graduate from college at higher rates than students who do not study abroad (Institute of International Education).

Q: Why to use the EduManufaktura’s services?

A: Choosing an educational program, whether at undergraduate or graduate level, is a very complex and demanding task. It raises numerous questions, such as “Where to study?” or “How do I design my application documents in the best possible way?” and “How to I obtain a scholarship?”. In addition, navigating through numerous websites and understanding all the relevant information makes the whole process even more challenging.

Q: How to finance studies abroad?

A: Finance plays a major part in choosing where to study. Besides the required tuition fees and study charges, accommodation and living expenses account for a substantial proportion of the financial outflow.

In most EU countries, EU students are treated the same as the domestic ones when it comes to tuition fees. For example, in Denmark, students from Norway, Iceland, and EU countries are treated like domestic students and pay no tuition fees, with their education fully subsidized. Students who come from non-EU countries face higher tuition fees in most Western European countries, however, there are numerous sources of financing offered to them from scholarship, to governmental loans. These are not very easy found and obtained; therefore, costs of studies should be well planned before embarking on the journey.

Here is an overview of the tuition fees across Western European countries:
